My favourite part of the day during lockdown is without a shadow of a doubt my daily walk. I’ve noticed that during lockdown I have become more aware of the beauty in my surroundings; the birds seem to chirp louder and the sky seems more clear. Maybe this is in fact the case or maybe it’s because lockdown has allowed me to stop and appreciate the world I live in. Day-to-day life is usually so busy and hectic, packed with to-do lists and places to be. Lockdown has halted this frantic way of life and given me the time to stop and breathe.

Up-cycled denim

This summer I decided to improve my textile skills. Rather than go out and buy new materials I chose to make this oversized bag out of a pairs of old jeans – creating a patchwork style and using the waistbands from two pairs to make the handles. I also lined the inside with an old duvet cover that my family were going to chuck out.

Safe Sex Ad

This was a collaborative project I worked on if my first year at university. The brief was to create a minute long infomercial on a topic of our choosing. I collaborated with my course mates, Kyra Marks, Henry Carrow and Quinn Watterson to create this quirky and comical stop frame ad to promote safe sex.
