Lockdown up-cycling

Like so many others during lockdown, I decided to have a spring clean and clear out. As I was sorting through old clothes, it dawned on me that I could upcycle these clothes and give them a new lease of life.

My first project was turning an old pair of low-rise camouflage skinny jeans into a high-waisted skirt – which I think turned out pretty well for my first try!

In fact, it went so well I decided to do the same alterations to a pair of dogtooth check skinny jeans.

I then tried something new, I had a pair of ripped mom jeans which had become overly torn. I patched them up with other old pairs of jeans that I was also planning on chucking.

My final up-cycling project was converting a pair of beach shorts into a bralette.
